This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases of paperback books, eBooks, and merchandise made through www.dhgibbs.com (“Website,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy

All sales of eBooks are final. Due to the digital nature of eBooks, no returns, refunds, or exchanges will be granted once the file has been delivered.

Paperback books and merchandise (“physical products”) are eligible for return only under the conditions outlined in this Policy.
2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:

The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, and undamaged.

If the order included bundled merchandise (e.g., bookmarks, prints, or other promotional items), all merchandise must also be returned with the book(s).

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt of the item(s). Proof of purchase is required.

3. Shipping Costs

If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective item, or damaged item upon delivery), we will cover the cost of return shipping.

If the return is for any other reason (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order placed by Customer), the Customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping.

Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable, unless the return is the result of our error.
4. Refunds

Refunds will only be processed once the returned item(s) have been received and inspected.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

If merchandise or books are missing, damaged, or show signs of use, the return will not be accepted, and no refund will be granted.
5. Repeat Returns & Purchase Restrictions

Customers who repeatedly return items without valid cause may have their purchasing privileges revoked.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or block accounts at our sole discretion in cases of abuse of this Policy.
6. International Orders

Customers outside of Japan are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or additional charges imposed by their country. These costs are non-refundable.
